Since Neem Karoli Baba came into my life, I've been blessed with so many wonderful experiences, including an afternoon with Ram Dass. I picked him up at the inn, we went to the Dragonfly, enjoyed a delightful meal, and shared stimulating conversation.
I specifically asked Ram Dass three questions:
1) What's the meaning of life? 2) How do I better relate to women? and 3) What's (my) right livelihood?
Here are his answers: 1) Our lives are simply meant to be an offering to God; 2) Relate at the soul level (actually applicable to everything with a soul); 3) Do what you like, as long as you do it as an offering to God.
Several people recognized Ram Dass, came up, and spoke. Every time we were "interrupted", I was blessed to feel the love between him and these "total strangers".
After several hours spent "here now", I took Ram Dass back to the inn, thanked him, and we departed "soul buddies".
